Goodwill First Baptist Church in Madison is collecting shoes for those in need as part of the Soles4Souls program. The church is accepting gently worn shoes, which will be given to those in need, such as victims of natural disaster and those living in poverty.
Shoes can be dropped off at the church at 1036 K-Fork Road through Aug. 28.
Soles4Souls, based in Nashville, Tenn., has provided more than 4.3 million pairs of shoes in more than 125 countries. For more information visit www.giveshoes.org.
