Soles4Souls on the March in RVs

I suppose it would be too much to ask the shoe-donation charity to walk its 20-city tour. Though it would be an appropriate method of transportation (and, come to think of it, good publicity), the international organization Soles4Souls is opting instead to take its shoe, I mean show, on the road via RV.

Marking the Nashville-based NGO's five-year anniversary, the Soles4Souls RV Tour starts January 8 with a trip to New Orleans, where representatives will give shoes to kids at The Covenant House shelter for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth. From there the shoe brigade will visit nine states to donate shoes to many others in need.

Ubiquitous Kim fundraising for the group through a video campaign at She will apparently also help distribute shoes in some of the cities on the tour, which will cover Dallas, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver and Topeka, among others.
