In the past couple of months, the Metro Nashville Police Department has collected over 2,400 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls to be distributed to the needy worldwide.
In addition, Sgt. DeLap, the Police Department’s liaison, connected with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Department and got them to participate in the drive as well. Sgt. DeLap and Soles4Souls staff members delivered 12 additional collection bins to the six Davidson County Sheriff's offices spread throughout the greater Nashville Davidson County area.
The show of support from the Nashville Law Enforcement community has been huge and has helped contribute to our mission of “Changing the World One Pair at a Time."
